At least ALTO makes sense, in a Spanish speaking country! They all say STOP here and I've never been able to figure out why. But no matter what they say, mind you, as Jerry says, they're "just a suggestion." LOL!

On my Blog, I show to you the “Right Street”, one of the principal streets of Martel. Cavity it is very except right-hand side, it turns in all the directions. Also have in your city, of the streets with a name in contradiction with the street? (Street example of the restaurants without any restaurants).
Good Day

Vibrant color and balance. Even with the metal stop sign, the picture has a very tropical feeling, as if it is telling us, "Stop rushing. Relax and enjoy for a while."

My experiences with Guatemalan drivers is that these signs are mostly ignored. The traffic in Antigua has an interesting tempo with all of the different modes of transport mixed together...Taxis, Cars, Tuk-tuks, motorcycles, Bikes, pedistrians, us goofy tourists, who seem to be perpetually lost, and the LOUD chicken buses. Thanks for the reminder. I often tell people that stop signs in Guatemala are just a suggestion. One of the problems here in the rural areas of East Texas is stolen signs. These tile ones are definately permanent.
