Love the bougainvillea! They are so small here in my area -- only house plants. But love them all the same. :)

Rudy, is there any way you could make your website to remember my details ? I always have to fill in my email address and website every time I visit and I find this so cumbersome I sometimes don't leave a post because of that.

Thanks for the clarification re coffee plants. I had seen some in Costa Rica and they were definitely quite low so I was surprised by what I thought were tall trees. Cheers!

Very interesting post and photograph. I didn't know about the shadow trees before. I read some of your earlier posts and enjoyed those too.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

No, no Green. The bushes with flowers on the fence are bougainvillea trees, the coffee trees are small bushes on the other side of the fence. Coffee trees have tiny white flowers when they blossom.

I'm still confused.. Are coffee trees the ones with the red flowers? I've never seen a coffee tree blossom.
