I’m sort of embarrassed to say that these are the first real photos of non-tourist Guatemala that I have seen. I like the photos a great deal. I found your site via the daily blog site that I don’t know much about but they put me on their list for Los Angeles.

I love this picture… the counter is a great detail… it is part of the “chapín” iconography. Funny thing, here they call electricity (the one you pay for every month) “hydro”, and water is “utilities”… I believe “luz” is most appropriate.
