They know that adopting a child would be unfair and they have the time and resources, and need/want of company. Yes, they could give money to World Vision or Save the Children or whatnot... probably they already do. Or maybe, just maybe, I've been too long in Canada... or did I came already this way? I was just thinking… it is not such a preposterous idea if the adopted “parents” are older, probably “empty-nest” people whose own children are grown ups. BTW. . . .In Italian (at least the regional dialect of my grandparents), "chucho" means something quite different.
