Clouds and Water Volcano in Harmony

Clouds and Water Volcano in Harmony

Volcanoes and clouds have a harmonious relationship. Often you see volcanoes surrounded by clouds. It looks like volcanoes have magnetism which attracts the clouds. For this very reason, the best shots I ever seen of Volcán de Agua (Water Volcano); formerly known as Volcán Hunapú, have included some cloud formation in the frame. Here’s my contribution towards long pile of shots of Water Volcano with clouds. I hope you like it! 😉

What a fantastic picture Rudy. I remember taking a similar photo on my first trip to Guate in 1988 of Pacaya.

I just want to point out the lamp post and electric cables in the photo – not your fault Rudy! I have always hoped that one day the project of putting all cables underground and replacing the lamp posts with more authentic ones would be continued. Alas, with the class of Mayors that we get in Antigua, I don’t think that will be happening soon.

As you have shown us, Antigua is an incredible place to take photos. if only they would get rid of the overhead cables!
