Just a sunset

There is something about how the sun rises and sets that gets people marveled, or in some kind of magical admiration to what nature shows us. On this past Tuesday I was about to meet some friends, and I began seeing what promised to be a beautiful sunset. Someone on the street said, it is just a sunset. Perhaps the person was depressed, or just angry at something, but it was the first time I’ve ever heard something like this. A few minutes later, I saw people with all sorts of cameras, cell phones, and everyone, me included, just taking photos.

So, the combination of Antigua, good friends, and great colors produced this sunset… In the end, it is just a sunset, ;) Enjoy…

    Just a sunset! Well… there was once this little antiguenio that loved sunsets so more he moved his chair one day to see the sun set 43 times… he was quite sad that day. Last time I heard about him he was stranded in the Sahara with a French pilot.

    I don’t think I’ve ever seen “Just a sunset” in Guate … ever. That’s like saying “just another shooting star over San Pedro”. Always impressive ! Ja-ja-ja

    Beautiful pic, Arturo. Incredible color – wish I could have seen it in person, but maybe thanks to Rudy’s tortilleria pix, I will be there soon to see for myself.

    I think that if you are tired of sunsets , you are tired of life!- but then I am by nature a “sun worshiper”- Really beautiful photographs Auturo. Living in a big city I see few of them these days- but I am so looking forward to my next visit to Antigua in October where I hope to catch a few of those wonderful sunsets.
