Rudy, you take these photos from viewpoints of places I have been, and it makes me walk down to La Internacional, the tienda close to me that sells harina de maiz, pan dulces, platanos y todas cosas centroamericanas, just so I can inhale the smells and pretend I'm back in the land of volcanes, tortillas, y bellezas. Great shot for the end of the rainy season. Have I been to Guate when it wasn't rainy season ? I don't think I have. Dios mio! I am looking forward to all the great photos from the coming (dry) months ahead. Thanks for the Huaracan background, as well.
p.s. - the event at Las Capuchinas looked incredible. Felicitaciones al club. Maybe next year, I can visit during that time ? I need a few more Guate stamps on my passport, I think !

WIKIPEDIA: Huracan (also Hurakan, in Mayan understandable as Jun Raqan "one legged") was a Mayan god of wind, storm, fire and one of the creator deities who participated in all three attempts at creating humanity.[1] He also caused the Great Flood after the second generation of humans angered the gods. He supposedly lived in the windy mists above the floodwaters and repeatedly invoked "earth" until land came up from the seas.

I would like to add that for Mayas KABRAKAN used to be the Earthquake GOD. Kabrakán means TWO LEGGED, he is the balance to Zipacná, the creator of mountains
