Leaves of Grass

Leaves of Grass

I am sure you were already thinking of Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass.

Well, this is really a literal snapshot or think of it more like a tickler vista so you revisit Whitman’s poetry. I know I will read a few poems of Hojas de Hierba this week; if you do the same, please share with us which poems you read. Deal?

  • Ah Rudy, after so much going on, I’m beginning to hopefully have some time to revisit article by article… I did miss ADP!!! Anyway, just to let you know, I took to the jungle about 30 books with me, and I couldn’t read a single one!!! So, before asking you to lend me something by Whitman, I will surely read my task :O) and of course hopefully soon to contribute here… Cheers!!!!!!!!!

    @Rudy: Is the grass really that green? The color is so nice and bright. I could take a nap there, like the lady from last week’s photo.

    • @Erick, yes that’s real color of grass. To get those vibrant greens in the grass leaves, you need an abundant rainy season, good fertile volcanic soil, lots of sunlight and high humidity levels year round. That’s it!

  • @Rudy, thank you!!!!!!!! :O) Given the loads of things to still photograph, well, it might take me some more time than expected 🙁

    @MO, THAAAAAAAAANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O) :O) :O) :O) :O) :O) :O) :O)

    @Rudy, THANK YOU TOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;O) :O) :O) :O) :O)
