I think that one of the risks is objectifying people with the power of the viewfinder. On the other hand, it can also empower people to see themselves under a new light and help viewers to see a reality beyond the postcards. That is why I like your work on ADP. I quickly glanced at the 399 photos under “people” and did not see many shots of “fichudos, or wealthy people” doing laundry, eating an helado or running errands. Even the fancy houses were shot empty. However, I did see many shots were you magically caught the essence of Antigua, Guate and Chapines.
