The first time I posted the use of wood as fuel here, I was against it. By the second time I shared a photo of wood being used as leña, wood fuel, I had learnt that not all instances of the use of wood as fuel were bad from an article that appeared in National Geographic. Recently, I learned about the benefits of finding renewable sources of fuel, like biodiesel. Besides, most leña used in Antigua Guatemala comes from the trimming of the shadow trees from the coffee plantations; not sure for the rest of Guatemala.
So, one is allowed to change one’s mind, right?
