Glorious Light of Winters in Antigua Guatemala

Rudy Giron: AntiguaDailyPhoto.com &emdash; Glorious Light of Winters in Antigua Guatemala

In the recent photos I have posted here and elsewhere on the social media world, many people have commented on the gorgeous light we have in Antigua Guatemala. With rain, snow, wind, clouds, cold, warm, doesn’t matter, the light stills breaks through and gives us these magical ambience which makes believe you are walking in an enchanted place, don’t you agree?

    Rudy,
Did you photoshop this picture. I can see some blue sky on the facade above the main entrance.

    • No Luis, I almost never photoshop the images that I share here. I simply wouldn’t have the time to edit the photographic flow and publish them in a daily manner. Except for color cast removal and and contrast and brightness adjustments, I pretty much don’t touch the photographs. In this case, what you’re seeing is the blue of the sky which peaks through the opening behind the saint figure; normally one does not see it because from a frontal point of view the figure hides the opening, but from this angle, it is quite obvious. Good eye Luis!
