Texas BBQ, Mexican Carnitas and Korean Food Now Available in Antigua Guatemala

Rudy Giron: Ubi's Korean Dishes &emdash; Kimchi JJigae (sopa Kimchi)

Kimchi JJigae FTW!

As I have mentioned many times before, Antigua Guatemala is a foodie’s paradise since one is able to sample many of the world’s foods in such a tiny city, a town really, some might even call Antigua Guatemala just a village in the Mayan high lands of Guatemala, and who’s to deny it when you consider that this community is merely 10×10 block grid in size. Nevertheless, I am sure one can eat well and have access to many more kinds of food in Antigua Guatemala than in Guatemala City.

Now, who wants to know where can you get Texas BBQ, Mexican Carnitas and Korean Food in Antigua Guatemala?

    Thanks Rudy,
I would especially like to know where you can get carnitas michoacanas and Texas BBQ in La Antigua! Some of my favourite foods. Please give me an address, as I like to get onto Google Earth and find the places on the map…..it’s the best I can do to pretend I am actually in LAG! I know it’s a bit lame, but this beautiful town is in my lifeblood and ADP keeps me addicted!
One day I’ll join the photographic walk around around La Antigua; it would be a real treat…got to get there first!

Me! Me! Me! I want to know, just-in-case, you understand. I am more than satisfied with comida tipica guatemalteca, but maybe when I’m in La Antigua for more than a couple of days…

Hey Rudy; you left us all hanging on the carnitas question….I know you are always doing something bigger and better for all of us, so it’s not a reproche…I just love carnitas and apparently you hold the key!
