I was privileged to have the opportunity to show some of daily life stamps I have recorded with my camera to a group of friends, loyal readers, followers and people interested in photography on the inauguration of my solo photo exposition #Guategrams on August 3rd. Most of the daily life images have been either published here or on Instagram, thus the hashtag #Guategrams. This photo exposition which will remain opened until August 31 at El Fotógrafo Photo Gallery located on Calle del Arco, 5a calle norte No. 29.
The photographs were printed on a beautiful high quality cotton paper which brings out all the detail and grit or the textures found in Antigua Guatemala.
All high quality printed images are on sale. A portion of the sale will benefit the Antigua Guatemala based animal rescue organization Unidos para los Animales.
If you’re or will be in Antigua Guatemala before August 31, stop to look at the photographs and if you can take home one or more of the photographs, you will make us very happy. If for any reason, you can visit the exhibition, you can get any of the #Guategrams images from my online gallery at www.instacanv.as/rudygiron.
Trivia aside: By the way, as far as I know, this is the first photo exhibition in Guatemala of images previously published on Instagram. Also, this was the first time El Fotógrafo Photo Gallery opened its doors and invited a photographer for a temporary exhibition.
