Ella- “So, what did he say….?”
El- “I told him, like, THREE TIMES that we needed the middle of town, but all he kept saying was ‘Parkay Sintrall’, so, I dunno….
    Ella- “Bummer.”

    • Hahaha Eric, so that’s how Parque Central sounds in English?

Rudy, that is how I explain the sound to the North American monolinguals, ha-ha-ha. I keep telling my friends from here that the language needs to be EXPERIENCED, not just repeated like a parrot, and that La Antigua is a great place to start. Until now, I have only one person who wants to come visit with me…but she is the most important person to me, now, anyway…. 🙂

        • Great, at last I get a chance to meet the very special person.

This map must be out of date. It doesn’t have any of the street names used in Antigua. There’s not a Una Via or a Doble Via anywhere on it!

    • That’s right Buzz, they repeat those names quite often as well.
