Guatemalan Portrait: Typical Smiling Girl

Rudy Giron: AntiguaDailyPhoto.com &emdash; Guatemalan Portrait: La niña de Guatemala

If you visit Guatemala, one thing that will be common everywhere you go are the smiling faces. Here I captured the typical smiling face of a girl having lots of fun at the lavadero público in the Pilas de Santa Clara, better known now as Tanque de la Unión.

Let’s have another creative caption contest. Whoever can come up with the most ingenious caption for this photograph and leave in the comment area will win a picture post card that I will mail to your home or office. I will pick a winner by Wednesday.

Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds be ever in your favor…

Rudy, I do not have a caption, but i love yours : Typical Smiling Girl. It sounds almost overly-scientific in English, almost like classifying an animal species, but the thing that makes me laugh is that it is so true. Many, many smiling faces in Guatelinda. This is a great shot!
