Devilish woman from Ciudad Vieja

Rudy Giron: Antigua Guatemala &emdash; Devil woman from Ciudad Vieja

This devilish woman from Ciudad Vieja had just finish her participation in the dance-drama called “Danza de la legión de los 24 diablos” or “Dance of the legion of 24 Devils” during the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception celebrations in Ciudad Vieja, the town located about 3 miles south-west from Antigua Guatemala, this past Monday, Dec. 8, 2014. I should pay more attention to the festivities of Ciudad Vieja, don’t you think?

Okay, this picture provides another opportunity for the creative exercise of captioning the photo. The most creative caption entered in the comment area for this post on www.AntiguaDailyPhoto.com will win a Postagram photo post card mailed to your home or office and a high-resolution photograph as decor art piece to dress your walls. May the odds be ever in your favour!

You’ve had no responses on this one Rudy; apparently the only one “paying more attention to the festivities” is that devil’s mask. He could tell us a lot perhaps? The picture is great, with the contrast of the provocative devilish costume with that sweet and pure smile, which means she really is far too nice to be bad! Some say that’s how the devil gets to us…catching us off guard! Quien sabe?

    • Be careful, Canche, I was actually thinking of English actress Elizabeth Hurley and the film Bedazzled (2000), when I captured the portrait of this divilish girl from Ciudad Vieja.
