Coffee and Wi-Fi Are Us

Rudy Giron: Antigua Guatemala &emdash; Coffee and Wi-Fi Are Us

I don’t know if you can find another place on Earth that has more coffee shops and public access Wi-Fi hotspots per square kilometre than Antigua Guatemala. There are many bathrooms as well. One can get used to that and suffer when you visit places, like NYC, that don’t have as many spots per square mile. Don’t you agree?

Ok Rudy, I’m biting. I don’t have data on access to wi-fi, but according to a health department survey, there are about 1,700 coffee shops in NYC, with an area of about 300 square mile. You do the math.
I’m with you on the shortage of bathrooms situation, but I never heard tourists complain about access to wi-fi. They can’t keep their eyes off from the Yankees pinstripes ( as they say !)

    • Well, I had lots of trouble finding free or inexpensive Wi-Fi hotspots. Well, Antigua Guatemala is only 0.65 square mile and has over 270 restaurants and coffee shops, most of them with public bathrooms and Wi-Fi access. You do the math.
