Can you guess all the different Guatemalan foods wrapped in egg batter shown in this sampler?
Here are some of the foods envueltas en huevo: cow’s tongue wrapped in egg batter, ichintal [chayote root], pacaya [bitter date palms], Guatemalan chilaquiles [güisquil or chayote slices], pork feet, and ejotes [green beans]. I believe that we can cover each of these dishes to add some background information and perhaps even some recipes. If I receive three comments requesting it, I will do all the require sacrifices and research.
