Once again, there you go again thinking I am going to share with you the recipe for Guatemalannes… wrong.

However, I can do tell you what makes Guatemalans hot hot. Besides the little spermatozoid-shaped-like chili pepper known in Guatemala as chiltepe, it is chile cobanero or the chilli pepper from Cobán. This picture of the Guatemalan Cobanero pepper was captured at chile stand inside the municipal market of La Antigua Guatemala, or simple the mercado as we locals call it.
