Vecino Antigüeño and Visitante Frecuente Parking Stickers

Rudy Giron: Antigua Guatemala &emdash; Calcomanías Vecino Antigüeño 2016

Starting around the second or third week of January, the Municipalidad de La Antigua Guatemala, city hall government, begins extending the “Vecino Antigüeño” [Antiguan Neighbor] and “Visitante Frecuente” [frequent visitor] windshield stickers. The vecino antigüeño calcomanías don’t cost anything, but you must prove that you are a neighbour of the Municipality of Antigua Guatemala by showing your DPI, Guatemala’s national identification card, plus the boleto de ornato, beautifying annual tax receipt, and the current tarjeta de circulación, registration card, for each vehicle you owned. The visitante frecuente calcomanía has an annual fee of Q200/$25 plus all the other documents listed above.

The official newsletter describing these requirements for the stickers in Spanish, can be found at the Municipality of Antigua Guatemala website; scroll all the way to the bottom.
