Consecutive Day 3634 of 3654 — Maya Generations

Rudy Giron: Antigua Guatemala &emdash; Maya Generations at Calle del Arco

Candid street portraits are my specialty. Here I was able to capture two Maya generations with enough context to place the candid photograph at Calle del Arco in Antigua Guatemala. This photograph was made while leading a photo walk and explaining how we need to compose and frame our photographs in our head first and then capture our visualisation with our camera. In my opinion, this photograph works, how about you, what are thoughts?

Did you know that I took over a year to publish the first photo of Calle del Arco and a few months before I show Mayas in the photographic flow of AntiguaDailyPhoto. This was a conscious decision as I knew most the first thing people photograph is Calle del Arco and the Mayas. My goal was to show you all the hidden and less travel paths of Antigua Guatemala.

10-year Countdown Aside: I’ve been publishing for 3,634 consecutive days on AntiguaDailyPhoto.com. We continue the May 1st, 2016 countdown to 3,654 days, or 522 weeks, or 120 months, or 10 years of daily multimedia content from and about Antigua Guatemala.

Check out the entire index thus far and please, do share with us what have been some of your favourites entries through the years.
