Policia Nacional Civil on Bicycles in Antigua Guatemala

I don’t know if it is ecological consciousness or lack of budget funds, but I am seeing more cops on bicycles around Antigua Guatemala. What’s your take on using bicycles for policing the streets of Antigua Guatemala?
