During the rainy season you also have worry about the rivers and lagoons that show up instantaneously on the streets of La Antigua Guatemala. Sometimes the lagoons are so deeps that not even chicken busses can cross them. For pedestrians with umbrellas, the rivers running over the cobblestones make it difficult to even cross the streets.
