Woman Timonel of the Santísima Virgen de Dolores

Woman Timonel of the Santísima Virgen de Dolores BY RUDY GIRON

Most photographers point their cameras towards the “anda” of Jesús Nazareno during the processions. I believe the float of Virgin Mary can be just as interesting and and attractive to the cameras, don’t you agree?

If you are wondering how close do we get during the Lent & Holy Week photo walks, this is a very good example as this photograph was capture by a wide angle lens, which means I needed to be within 3 feet to fill the frame.

Take home extraordinary images of the once-a-year traditional and colorful processions from the intricacies of carpet building, to the coordination required to carry a wooden float. These special Easter photo walks will get you to the best spots to capture photos that will last a lifetime.

Don’t miss the Semana Santa special photo walks, from 2 pm to 6 pm.
