Mosaic Mural by ‘Pasión por los Mosaicos’ at César Brañas Cultural Center

This mosaic mural is located on one the main wall of the César Brañas Cultural Center. Pasión por los Mosaicos, passion for the mosaics, is group of mosaic artists based in Argentina who through AntiguaDailyPhoto loyal reader and supporter Shelley Rozell, organized, created and installed this mural pyramid of mosaic plaques created by several artists. Amigos aqui les comparto las primeras fotografias del mural en Guatemala. Nuestra amiga Shelley Rozell comienza a darle forma a este sueño en común que impulsara ella misma y a la distancia “el poder de una convocatoria hecha con pasion”, verdad?
para todas las amigas que contribuyeron con sus placas a este mural este es un momento de emoción, ver una parte de su trabajo formando esta pirámide allá lejos, en la cálida Guatemala. — Con Mariel Trill Guillot, Verónica Eibuszyc, Ines Torrilla, Coty Ana Maria Mayo, Liliana Codesido Decoración, Claudia Schmets, Valeria Andrea Villanueva, Laura Galeazzi, Georgina Matich, Zulma Marquez, Liliana Vasquez, y Perla Schettini en Antigua Guatemala.

In my particular case I feel honored and in awe that several artists chose some my photographs as inspiration for creating this mosaic mural now an integral part of the Municipal Cultural Center César Brañas. I see it and I still can’t believe it. Below I added the pictures that inspired some of the mosaics in this mural. I want to publicly thank Shelley Rozell for having me be part this wonderful art project by “Pasión por los Mosaicos.”
