When it rains it pours in Antigua Guatemala

The Autumnal Equinox is upon us and to commemorate it our mother Earth sent a heavy down pour to La Antigua Guatemala. Tomorrow will also be the first day of the Fall season which means barriletes (kites) and giant barriletes will be coming soon. The rainy season should be over in the following weeks and the most beautiful time of the year should commence soon after that. The fall season is also the time of fiambre, dulce de cabecera (headboard sweets). But, before that, we still have to endure a few more heavy down pours.
