Small and Enchanting Antigua Guatemala from the Air

Often I have mentioned how small is Antigua Guatemala. In fact is about 10×10-blocks grid, but somehow there is so much to see and experience. Because the Antigua Guatemala is protected by conservation laws it can not grow beyond its original grid which is the reason why real estate is so expensive in Antigua Guatemala. Manhattan is on an island that was able to grow upwards because of its geological characteristics. Antigua Guatemala, however, can not grow upwards because it’s situated in a seismic zone and the conservation laws forbid second story or more constructions.
