13 Baktun Ceremony in Antigua Guatemala

All of Guatemala celebrated the end of the long count Mayan calendar and the beginning of the new era. There were events and celebrations through out the entire country and a specific places such as Tikal in Petén, Kaminal Juyú in Guatemala City, Iximche in Chimaltenango and Cerro de la Cruz in Antigua Guatemala. The event started around 7pm on the 20th of December and there were activities all night long, such us live music and Mayan religious ceremony which was held around 5am on the 21st of the December. The night was full of magic, mysticism and very good vibes.

Toda Guatemala celebró el término del calendario de la cuenta larga de los mayas, he inició la nueva era con muchas y diversas actividades en lugares y ciudades especiales. La Antigua Guatemala fue seleccionada entre estos y el lugar donde se realizó el agradecimiento y reflexión de esta nueva era fue el Cerro de la Cruz. Con música y ceremonias realizadas en el Cerro de la Cruz, la noche estuvo llena de magia y misticismo.
