Acatenango Nevado
As mentioned yesterday, on Thursday night we had rain falling in Guatemala which caused most peaks above 3,700 meters to acquire cap of snow; by the way, that’s 12,200 feet for those of you who still live in a place where the metric system is not in place yet. The skies around Antigua Guatemala were full of clouds which prevented most people from actually seeing this rare weather event; however, I was able to capture a few pictures of the snow-capped peaks of Acatenango and Fuego volcanoes. I hope you like this rare sight.
