Good News from Guatemala: Working for the Welfare of Equines

Fundación Equinos Sanos para el Pueblo, ESAP, is another non-governmental organisation I have worked with in the past. So, when Foundry Photojournalism Workshop student Julie decided to focus her photo story on horses, I knew she needed to talk the people at ESAP, the organisation that “develops, promotes and strengthens sustainable practices of care and handling of working equines through educational programs with community participation and strategic alliances.”

As soon as the photojournalism workshop is over this weekend, I will update these series with links to the photo essays to give you an idea of the work of some the students were able to photograph. Stay tuned!
