La Antigua Guatemala is the premiere destination for the Guatemalan fashionistas who are looking for the perfect backdrop to showcase their latest fashion statement, either clothes, shoes or accessories. Guatemalan fashionistas are everywhere now, from Instagram to TV channels in cable networks. Actually, fashionistas are everywhere in Central America, would be a more accurate statement.

I’ll be traveling to Antigua for the first time next month, and I’ve been searching the internet wondering about the style of dress. I don’t want to stand out completely but still want to be fashionable. More “street style” photos would be awesome!

Try searching for keywords such as fashion, women, dress code, etc. There are even discussion about what some consider appropriate or inappropriate. Search, there is plenty in the archives.
