Antigua Photo Walks: Inside A Colonial House from Antigua Guatemala
One thing is for sure about the Antigua Photo Walks that I lead, we don’t know where we will end up. For instance, on last Saturday’s photo walk, we visited a pristine colonial house where we photographed the bathroom, the Americana kitchen, the attic, rooftop, corridors, etc., and antique decor pieces. The idea is to take the photography enthusiasts to places they normally would not visit on their. Also, each photo walk is packed with ton of trivia and hard to find information I have acquired through the process of publishing the daily updates of AntiguaDailyPhoto for nearly 9 years. Furthermore, I usually share my knowledge of photographic composition, street photography and portraits of strangers through a crash course to help improve the photography skills of those attending.
The positive response and reviews for Antigua Photo Walks have been overwhelming; putting this activity among the Top 5 things to do in Antigua Guatemala on TripAdvisor with only a few months from having registered. Below I am sharing one of the reviews from the TripAdvisor page, to read all the reviews, visit http://is.gd/TripAdvisorReview.
“Highlight of my visit to Antigua!”
Spent 2 weeks in Guatemala eco-volunteering and taking Spanish classes, one of the highlights of the trip was a photo walk (class) with Rudy Giron Photography! His passion both for his art and his city are infectious! I highly recommend anyone with an interest in photography and/or the history of the city to check his schedule for walks when you visit Antigua!!!
