Some people live in color, some people live in black and white

I clearly remember the film The Wizard of Oz, or rather the scene where everything goes from black and white to full color. I imagine that’s what many people who have never left their home country might feel when they visit Guatemala for the first time. I mean there are many grey and beige worlds out there and then you step off the airplane and everything is wild and crazy, with so many rich, saturated colours. And noisy, and I mean really noisy. Welcome to Guatemala, the heart of the Maya world, the land of colour and eternal Spring.
