The Cucuruchos and The Drones in Antigua Guatemala
Here’s your illustrated Spanish word of the day: Cucurucho or cone-head. Cucuruchos are the men who carry the heavy processional floats.
What a penitence to have to carry the heavy floats for several turns [blocks], plus the photographic and drone equipment to document the processions with images and moving pictures. Last Sunday I was at least two cone-heads flying drones around the processional float and I imagine dozens more drones were used that day. It seems as everyone has a drone nowadays, except me, of course.
I will have some special moving pictures to share though with you soon though. Stay tuned!
