Artisans Town Fair in Antigua Guatemala
Once again there was an artisans town fair around Parque Central in Antigua Guatemala. Unlike previews town fairs, this time the tents were place on the closed down street in front of the Real Palacio de los Capitanes. I imagine this is because ever since the main square underwent a facelift, the municipal authorities are trying to keep it looking its best. On the other, hand, I believe this street is much better spot to put tents and to host any other activities instead of the corridors of Parque Central. I am almost certain this is the spot where they will host the book fair that comes with the celebration of the patron saint of Antigua Guatemala during the month of July.
What are your thoughts about the new location for the tents of the handicrafts and book fairs?
