Antigua Guatemala Rainy Season Post Card — Sheltering from the rain around Parque Central

Luckly there are three large corridors, portales we call them here, around the Plaza Mayor to take shelter while it rains. This is what the portal del ayuntamiento looks like when the heavy rains fall on the main square. Some folks take advantage of these rain breaks to chat with other people or to have lunch or snack, depending on the time of the day.
