Motorcycles are the most popular family vehicles in La Antigua

Believe it or not, motorcycles are the most popular family vehicles in La Antigua Guatemala. I mean, why not, where you can fit one you can fit four or five. I still don’t know how this is possibly legal or perhaps it isn’t, but no one is doing anything to prevent it.

I mean, we have laws and regulations, you know, we’re not complete savages, but as I have said many times before, one thing is to have a law and another thing to actually enforce it. So, I guess, we’re savages with laws.

What are your thoughts regarding the use of motorcycles as family vehicles?
