Street Portraits of Strangers — I am Guatemala No. 3

Young Guatemalan men work the streets selling nuts, floss candy, ice cream, whatever people would buy. We have to make a living. Guatemala is a land of opportunities, people say, but the majority of the people, especially the young can not seem to find them.

There’s plenty of wealth in Guatemala for sure; it’s just badly distributed, as in most places; but the divide here is so much wider.
