Street Portraits of Strangers — I am Guatemala No. 5

Guatemala is full with photographers. I know personally hundreds of them. Here is the smiling face of photo-journalist Santiago Billy and a colleague taking a break at Parque Central; the favorite spot of many to hang out and to watch people. Of course, the good vibes around the Plaza Mayor, the official name for the main square, make people even more friendly.

As you browse the portraits of the series «I am Guatemala» you can see a huge diversity of looks and stories. One thing is constant through out though, Guatemalans are friendly people, always ready to give you a smile, don’t you agree?
