Enjoying The Summer Season in Antigua Guatemala

Verano or summer in Antigua Guatemala is hot, but not too hot because the daily rains. We can reach 27C/80F after lunch hours, but then the afternoon rains bring the temperature back to the comfortable 22C/72F. The clouds also help to keep the heat of summer in check. The morning are fresh and almost always cloudless, with beautiful light and incredible volcanoes vistas. People tend to enjoy the parks with ice cream or granizadas, shaved ice sorbetes.

P.S. we call this season invierno, that’s winter for you anglophones.
