Repairs to Museo de Arte Colonial in Antigua Guatemala

The Museo de Arte Colonial building is undergoing some repairs and restoration of the façade. Originally this building was the home of Universidad de San Carlos de Borromeo previously known as Colegio Mayor located in La Antigua, back then Santiago de los Caballeros, Guatemala’s first university and the fourth in the American continent, better known nowadays as USAC, short for Universidad de San Carlos, Guatemala’s only public university. At present this building houses the Museo de Arte Colonial.
