Maya girls jumping around Parque Central in Antigua Guatemala

Recently I shared with you a photograph of three boys having a blast with a portable wooden staircase on a platform and  my thoughts on how imagination is the best game for children in Guatemala and the world over, really.

Well, today I am sharing a fast capture of about half a dozen Maya girls having lots of fun in a competition game imagined by them which consisted simply in  jumping around the stairs found in Parque Central. At least three of the girls were jumping with their handicrafts for sale on their hands.
