Arches at the ‘La Compañía de Jesús’

Here’s your illustrated Spanish word of the day: Arcos for arches.

Here’s one my favorite arched corridors in Antigua Guatemala. You find this arched way inside the former college of the Jesuit society monastery one block west from the main square in Antigua Guatemala. Certainly, the building for the Compañía de Jesús, that’s the name in Spanish, is one of the photogenic constructions in Antigua Guatemala.
