Street Portraits of Strangers — I am Guatemala No. 13
Today, I am happy to share a portrait of Victoria, a great grandmother, one of the friendliest and kindest people I have ever met. I am so grateful that Victoria opened the doors of her house years ago when I first met her.
In this portrait, she was explaining to us how she roasts her coffee on a comal, a clay griddle and then grinds it using two set of stones [large base shown]. By the way, this is the home-made way to make corn-dough.
Tomorrow is the 14th anniversary of Antigua Daily Photo. I hope you can send us your comments and favorite post through these 14 years of daily updates from Antigua Guatemala. Cheers!
Support my work during these challenging times with a small donation or buy a high quality print. Thanks!
