Colonial Distinctive Lion Door Knocker

There are many iconic images through out Antigua Guatemala, from the mermaids to the Santiagos [Saint James effigies]. Lions are one of the most often found iconic images in the city formerly known as Santiago de Guatemala. You can find lions in fountains, in lamps, and more often as door knocker, like the one shown here.
