Designer hand-made boots from Guatemala

A few years ago, our guest writer Arturo Godoy published a post about custom-made boots and shoes made in Pastores, a town about 3 miles from Antigua Guatemala. Since then, I have learned about at least three boot designers and entrepreneurs who take advantage of the high-quality hand-made skills of the shoe makers in Guatemala. In fact, I am lucky enough to had put my photographic skills at the service one such boot designing company, Suela Soul Boot Company.

Here’s what Arturo Godoy shared with us before:

I bet you didn’t know that there is town near Antigua Guatemala where one can choose from a large selection of boots, or even have them custom-made for you. The town of Pastores, about 5 kilometers from Antigua Guatemala, is famous for the quality and craftsmanship of their custom-made shoes and boots. Of course, there are hundreds of ready-made boots and shoes to choose from at the many shoe-maker shops, but if there’s time it is better to have them made to your specific desires.

Of course, thanks to the boot designers and entrepreneurs, such as Suela Soul Boot Company, you don’t have to come all the way to Antigua Guatemala to have custom-made boots made for you, unless you want to of course, since you can order hand-made boots from them. By the way, these boots make for awesome amazing gifts.
