Porno For Pyromaniacs in Antigua Guatemala

Volcán de Fuego is quite active again. These images of Fuego’s latest eruptions were taken by Paul Berger Lou last night around kilometre 83 on Ruta Nacional 14, RN14 or Road 14, more or less near Alotenango.

With these two pictures you can get a sense of how active Fuego volcano can be and how gorgeous the lava eruptions are at night. This truly porno for pyromaniacs, don’t you agree?

To capture this many eruptions in one frame, you need to have long exposures, 30 seconds in this case at aperture of f3.6 at ISO 100 for the photo above. For the picture below, a long telephone lens, 70-300mm, was used at f9; everything else was the same.
