333 Steps to Cerro de la Cruz

For nearly 450 years if you wanted to climb to Cerro de La Candelaria, now better known as Cerro de La Cruz, to take an overview look of the city of Santiago de Guatemala, now known as Antigua Guatemala, you have to take a trail you can find.

In 1990, the Municipalidad de La Antigua Guatemala decided to build a staircase with 333 step that takes from the bottom of the hill, right by the road, to the top of hill, near the cross.
