Alone and Lonely

Alone and Lonely by Rudy Giron

Alone and lonely are two things that first came to my mind when I took this photo and especially so after I turned into black and white; not that there were too much color to begin with. What about you, what’s the first feeling or thought that this photo evokes in you?

  1. Where I live, a bird sitting out like that has a short lifespan. Our local Eagles live for “easy pickings” like your bird. I live on the side of a hogback ridge where the Eagles ride the thermals, a bird stands little chance if it goes out on an outside branch.

  2. Looks like a normal Winter’s day in UK; bleak, colorless…and as you say lonely outside…not where you would want to be. Very evocative photo.

  3. Are you trying to convince people not to come to Guatemala? If so, this photo is a great start. It reminded me of winter in the Midwest U.S. Unfortunately, I’m afraid that it’s not going to work. You’ve posted too many beautiful photos showing what Guatemala is really like. Keep it up. It’s a beautiful country with beautiful people and beautiful weather.
