Wishful thinking, yeah, I know.
Anyhow, let us hope these are the last days of the rainy season 2013 which has been extremely copious since the beginning of September. As I promised once, I will complain less about the rain and try to find the beauty of it. I hope you like it.

I used to like the wet season in Antigua; I would sit in a courtyard and watch the rain running down the colas de quetzal; very relaxing. That may be useless romanticism when you suffer flooding and the like, but at least you may get some sun in the morning and a temperature in two figures and in the positive. I’m not looking forward to my winters of -8C or less! Knowing you, in some way, you will turn the downside of the rain into an upside of photographic excellence.
Well Canche, right now we are in Autumn in Antigua Guatemala and temperature oscillate between the lows 14° ~ 18°C and somewhere between the 25°C to 29°C for the high temperatures. Today for instance, we woke up to cool 16°C/61°F. Here’s the picture I took. http://instagram.com/p/fP3H-LkeXx/
Great layering; the vivid detail down to the raindrops on the flower at the front, a framing of the representative green foliage of Guatemala and the final background of the volcano, allowing La Antigua to claim the glory. When I woke up today it was 8C, no sun or even light and little prospect of much change during the day. Te envidio!
